The Club’s launch of its Irish Language initiative in conjunction with the Joe McDonagh Foundation took place in the Social Club last week. Representatives from Glor Na nGael, the local Conradh na Gaeilge, Sinn Fein, County GAA Officers including the Down Chairman Sean Rooney, along with club members attended the Launch. As a result of this initiative, the Club will be running its first Irish Summer School in July.
