On Sunday the club’s AGM was held in the new Clubrooms. Members were presented with a very comprehensive Report from the Club Secretary Damian Brady and a detailed Financial Statement from Liam Quinn who very kindly stepped in at the last moment for our Treasurer Damian Ruddy who was out of the country for family reasons. The assembly of members was urged to keep supporting the club as it approaches a new year and an appeal was made for more volunteers to help with team mentoring. There were issues identified but the club is determined to address these in 2018.
All those present were very impressed with the new facilities and Chair of the Development Committee Collie Jackson received an appreciative round of applause from members. The Gym was installed by BLK BOX FITNESS and Paul McKeown was responsible for the planning and layout of the new facility.
All are looking forward to seeing the new Clubrooms up and running and in full use during the next few weeks.
