The club’s annual Jack Mackin Tournament in honour of one of our founding fathers took place on Sunday morning. Visiting clubs included Kilcoo, Drumgath, Shamrocks and Saval along with two Bosco teams. All teams had 3 games and then we had a round of finals – a great morning of underage football. The presentation took place in the new Clubrooms where Ciaran Mackin, a son of Jack, thanked all for their attendance at the Tournament and Tiarnan McKeown, a grandson of Jack, presented the various awards – the Cup was won by Shamrocks, the Shield by Bosco and the Plate by Saval. All the players left with a souvenir medal and an O’Neills goody bag!
