A night in honour of the late Larry O’Neill

On Friday night an event to celebrate the life of the late Larry O’Neill was held in the Canal Court hotel. Family members, friends and former Bosco players gathered to honour Larry and also raise funds for the Newry Hospice. It was great to see such a large crowd in attendance and an enjoyable night was had by all. A 1975 Bosco jersey was presented to Donna and her family while the O’Neill family handed over a trophy to the club to be presented annually to the Minor Player of the Year. The beautiful wooden trophy had been carved by Larry’s brother John.
